How do I apply for a job?
You have two ways to apply with Advantage Resourcing. You can submit an open resume for consideration through the Submit a Resume template. You can also apply directly to a position of interest when you view a job description on line. The application for employment consideration is attached to each job description. This will also save you time in the long run.
How long does the hiring process take?
Advantage Resourcing has a two stage hiring process. The first stage is a qualifying process to become an Advantage Resourcing employee. This stage includes interviews, assessments, reference checks, and I9 verification. It all usually takes less than 48 hours.
The second stage is dependent on the specific position and individual client hiring requirements. Our team will do all we can to quickly move you through and keep you informed during this stage.
How often will I get paid?
Employees working with clients on a contingent or contract basis are paid on a weekly basis. Our staff employees are paid twice a month. If you are placed directly with one of our client, you will be paid according to the client’s payroll calendar.
Will you help me find another position after my assignment ends?
Advantage Resourcing is fortunate to work with a large number of outstanding organizations. After the successful conclusion of each contingent and contract assignment, your recruiter will begin working to align you with another opportunity.
What are the background check/drug test requirements?
The background check/drug test requirements vary from client to client. Your recruiter should discuss this with you.
How am I able to do things such as review my pay stubs or change my withholding?
The Talent Portals found on the 24/7 zone will provide you with access to the online systems used for these sorts of things. Your Advantage Resourcing representative should provide you with information about which system you should use.
Do you provide benefits?
Yes, Every Advantage Resourcing employee is offered 401(k). Employees may also have the ability to purchase group medical, dental, and vision insurances based on the terms of their assignment.
How long are the assignments?
Contingent and contract assignments vary in length depending on the needs of each client. Some may only be for a few days while others could be 12 – 18 months. In some cases, assignments may be extended.
Is there opportunity for a contingent assignment to convert into a direct position with the client?
Yes. While some of the positions we fill are purely contingent, there are others where the client plans to convert the position into a direct position if the right person is identified. Your recruiter will discuss these opportunities with you.
